Anibal Ramirez-Ramirez, a Salvadoran immigrant, died of liver failure at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was last held at Immigration Centers of America Farmville.
Anibal was the first detainee to die in ICE custody in fiscal year 2012.
